If you want to get Saorview set up in your home we can supply and install an aerial to be connected to a Saorview TV. This will give you the Irish Digital TV service, providing over 10 TV Channels (including RTE Channels, Virgin Media Channels, TG4 etc.), and 11 Radio Channels. If your TV doesn't have built-in Saorview, in addition to the aerial, we will supply and install a set top box. You can choose between Saorview only or a Saorview / Freesat satellite combi-box (satellite dish required) to give you both the Irish and UK free to air channels.
If you already have an existing system, but maybe want TV channels in additional rooms, we can set up a Saorview or combi-box system for those rooms.

What is Saorview?
Saorview is the name given to the Irish Digital Free to Air System. This requires the installation of a digital aerial and a Saorview box, or a connection to a TV with built in Saorview. This will provide all the Irish TV channels, including all the RTE and Virgin Media Stations.
What set top box options are available?
The Combi System
This is a system that combines the Saorview signal from the aerial for the Irish Channels, and the signal from the satellite dish for the UK Channels using one set-top box and remote control. This makes the system super easy to use, and control.
The Recording Combi System
This set top box also combines the aerial signal for the Irish Saorview channels and the satellite signal for the UK channels, with the addition of a built in hard drive. This system features pause, record and rewind functions and also gives a full week's electronic program guide on all channels.
